Hannah arrived in our care along with 25 other horses who were being illegally smuggled out of the UK to an unknown fate. Shockingly, not only had the little grey mare been crammed onto a dirty, inhospitable lorry with stressed horses she didn’t know, she was also pregnant.  

Without paperwork or a passport, it is impossible to know where Hannah and her unborn foal would have ended up, but it is highly likely that many on board would have ended their lives in a European slaughterhouse.   

Thanks to our amazing supporters, we were able to rescue Hannah and her beautiful filly foal was born safely just as the spring blossom came out. By playing our raffle you will be supporting the care of both mum and daughter, ensuring they have a bright future.
