Most people don’t understand what cystic fibrosis is, or what it does, until someone close to them is affected by it. They soon discover it’s a life-shortening genetic condition – half of all those who died from cystic fibrosis last year were under 31 years old.
We are the only UK-wide charity dedicated to making a daily difference to the now 10,800 lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them. We’re fighting to find a way to beat it for good, so that everyone with cystic fibrosis can live a life unlimited by the condition.
We are researching and developing new treatments, working with families to ensure they get the right support, and shouting loud on the issues that matter to the CF community.
