About Us
At The Shakespeare Hospice, care goes beyond our walls — it reaches into hearts, homes, and the very fabric of our community.
Since 1999, we’ve been a lifeline for thousands of patients and families across South Warwickshire and surrounding areas, offering expert palliative and end-of-life care that is as compassionate as it is comprehensive.
We believe that everyone facing a life-limiting illness or bereavement deserves to live with dignity, comfort, and hope. That’s why our services are free to anyone registered with a South Warwickshire GP — because care should never come with a price tag.
We offer a wide range of community-based services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family:
- Hospice at Home – bringing expert care and comfort to patients in their own homes
- Day Hospice – a welcoming space for therapeutic support and companionship
- Therapy Services – enhancing quality of life through physical and emotional wellbeing
- Adult Counselling – helping individuals navigate grief, loss, and change
- Children and Family Support Services (CAFSS) – supporting young hearts through difficult times
- Transitional Care Services – guiding young people as they move from paediatric to adult care
- Companion at home – provides a listening ear and friendship to a patient feeling lonely or isolated
Through these services, we empower people to live well for as long as possible — and when the time comes, to die with dignity, in the place of their choosing, surrounded by those they love.
But none of this would be possible without the generosity of people like you. We receive just 10% of our funding from the NHS — the rest comes from our incredible supporters.
Your support helps us be there when it matters most.
